Happy New Year 2016

I am so excited for the new year!  It is hard to believe we are half way through the school year!  I have been working hard on completing a Science Unit for 3rd graders in Georgia!  Most of them can be used for all 3rd grade curriculum, but the Habitats unit is specifically for Georgia!

The first unit is Magnets!  My students loved exploring with magnets.

I love this FlipBook!  It has so many good details they need to know!  My original intent was to put it in their Science Interactive notebook, but they loved reading it so much I sent them home in HW folders.

Another favorite is the Text Feature page!  It has several images to explain repel and attract.  I love incorporating ELA and Science whenever I can!!
